Éric Gervais and Sylvain Lessard, partners in Les Petits Chefs, already successful with their school lunch catering program are taking a giant step forward with their new project of supplying adult size meals. With intensive marketing programs to both local industrial sites and gyms together with sales in their newly furbished boutique at the St Hubert production facility, growth is accelerating at an impressive pace.
In order to satisfy the demand, they have obtained from Solpak a model 1908 electric automated tray sealer which they are using to package the 32 oz meals in dual ovenable compostable trays.
The capacity to package meals quickly allows Les Petits Chefs to deliver on major event contracts such as the “Jeux du Québec” ( Quebec summer games)
