The Volunteer Bureau of Marigot upgrades its meal packaging systems.
A Solpak customer since 2016, the VB of Marigot is all about caring for people in need. The VB offers several services to ensure that people with a loss of autonomy remain in their homes. Its work focuses on the Laval-des-Rapides and Pont-Viau communities. The VB of Marigot and the Café de la Concorde rely on a dedicated team to accomplish their mission. Employees and volunteers give their heart and soul to guarantee the well-being of their clients.
The organization proudly offers Meals-on-Wheels, medical transportation, friendly visits, and safety checks services, to name a few. With their frozen meal program, the VB of Marigot offers healthy and nutritious meals at affordable prices prepared with care by their cooks. Meanwhile, with their Meals on Wheels service, the VB offers comforting home-cooked meals to those in need in the Pont-Viau and Laval-des-Rapides areas. This service is available from Monday to Friday.
Already equipped with our 1308 Tray Sealer, André and his team saw an increase in demand for their meals during the pandemic. To help them continue to meet this demand, André opted for our 1908 automatic Tray Sealer, which allows them to package more than 1000 meals per day. Their brand new Tray Sealer is not only much faster and more cost-effective, but it will create new opportunities to distribute and sell their ready meals. On top of that, our 1908 Tray Sealer will free up some of their employees to perform other tasks.
This new Tray Sealer also seals the same Pulped and Pressed Paper trays in biodegradable paper sealed by their 1308 Tray Sealer.
