Welcome to our new client Gestion ADC Wolfcorp JV
It was a case of adding business to pleasure rather than adding pleasure to business when we went with Fernand-Henri Jalbert to meet his team who prepare and serve food services to the 600 workers of the Goldcorp goldmine in Éleonore in the James Baie region of northern Quebec.
We installed a 1908 model tray sealer and provided training to the kitchen staff who will be packaging lunches and snacks for the employees to reheat in the numerous break rooms located throughout the mining facility. The workers work 12-hour shifts for 14 days at a time away from home, so it is really important that the meals provided be both nutritious and satisfying. We are able to personally attest to that the ADC team does not disappoint. We were highly impressed with the quality and variety of the meals provided and the dedication of the kitchen staff.
The safety and convenience of the Solpak packaging although important considerations from the operations were not the determining factors in M.jalbert’s decision in our favour, even more important are the environmental considerations and the possibility to compost the used Solpak trays. Respect for and care for the environment are core values throughout the area.
It is with great pleasure that we welcome the ADC to the Solpak family and we look forward to additional installations for the group’s northern clients .
