We are delighted to announce that Cantine des Oeuvres St-Jacques is now part of the Solpak family.
Cantine des Oeuvres St-Jacques is a non-profit organization that offers affordable meals to people in need and hosts social events. The organization collaborates with several other community organizations that work with people in need in the downtown area, whose mission is to foster a sense of community and support.
More than a simple snack bar, Cantine des Oeuvres St-Jacques allows locals to break away from isolation, meet new people, build a support system, regain self-confidence and become more autonomous. Cantine has been in operation for more than 23 years and has served more than 425,000 meals since 1998. Each year, more than 19,800 meals are served.
Charles already uses Solpak solutions with Accueil Bonneau. When Charles started looking for solutions that could be both microwave and oven safe, Solpak was the first to come to mind. In a continued effort to provide meals that stay hot longer, Charles opted for our very compact 1208 Tray Sealer, perfect for his already well-equipped kitchen. It is now used to seal our Pulped biodegradable Paper trays.
