Things are heating up at Solpak!

Summer is finally here, and I’d like to take a moment to update you on what’s new at Solpak before things start up again in September.

Due to the increased cost of both materials and transport services that we experienced in January, we’ve made the difficult decision to adjust the pricing on select trays. Effective August 19, 2019, you will see an adjustment of 4 – 5 %, on average, depending on the product category.

There are only a couple of weeks left before the change takes place, so take advantage of the current rates and order before the price increase.

To help offset the impact of the above-mentioned price adjustments, the team and I worked very hard to integrate more discounts on your larger orders. You will continue to benefit from discounts starting at 2% (6+ items) and now up to more than 10% (48+ items). With the possibility of higher discounts on greater volumes.

Also, just a reminder that if you pay within 10 days of billing, by cheque or bank transfer, you will receive an additional 4% discount.

Many of you have organizations that are growing, and we are thrilled to be by your side. This growth also means that we will continue to be committed to working hard to live up to our promise.

With this growth in mind, Rachel Deguire, who joined the team several years ago as Coordinator, will now be looking after the Customer Relations and Support Services team as Manager. Her new role will help her work with the team to ensure that we are continuously improving the way we support you and your teams.

Having left his role with the Customer Relations team, Hugues Brouillette will join the Business Development team as Manager (and advisor to some of you). He is also pleased to support our new arrival and advisor to the Montreal region, Nancy MacLean.

If you haven’t heard from them already, expect a courtesy call or visit from these team members in the coming months, and don’t hesitate to share your ideas and wishes regarding improvements to our products and services!
